Our focus is to engage, educate, and inspire the community and our youth to be more aware of the impacts each of us have on our local environment and water resources. We need volunteers like you to make this happen! Whether you are looking to enhance your resume or just get out and do some good for your community, volunteering with the VWA is the way to go!

Neighborhood Ivy Pull at David Douglas Park

David Douglas Park needs our help! We are planning a neighborhood ivy pull to continue an extensive effort to remove this invasive species from the park. Come join students from Young Life and others from the neighborhood to make an impact at this park!

When: Saturday June 17th, 9am-12

  • Dress for weather, study shoes
  • Bring water bottle
  • Tools and gloves provided
